Zoo, Arts & Parks (ZAP)
ZAP is a publicly funded program that supports more than 230 arts and cultural nonprofit organizations through grant funding. The Utah Summer Dance Festival is funded in part by Salt Lake County ZAP, who helps to bring accessible arts programming to our community.

"Kitty" is a key founder of belly dance in the Salt Lake Valley and a dedicated supporter of our community. Not only a versatile performer, she also serves as the emcee, "the voice" of many of our events. We are proud to be supported in part by this incredible woman!
Rincoir Resheoid
"Rin" is a dancer and dear friend of Desert Journey School of Dance and strong supporter of the bellydance community. She is currently serving in the military abroad but took the time to contribute to the Utah Summer Dance Festival. We love you and miss you, Rin!
Halima
Halima is not only the director of Desert Goddess Dance Company here in Utah, but she helps to build this amazing dance community with her experience, workshops, Haflas, performances and more!

Linzee
Linzee continues to support not only the Utah Summer Dance Festival, but all events that bring dancers and the community together. She is a talented dancer with a broad knowledge of many bellydance styles and we are so lucky to know her and call her friend!
Melody
Some of you know her as Amina, others know her as Melody, but we all know her as friend. She has a heart so big, she travels the world to share it, along with her amazing dance knowledge and unique style. She has been a long time supporter of the Utah Summer Dance Festival and served on the USDF Committee for many years.
Desert Journey
Desert Journey School of Dance offers a variety of belly dance classes guiding students on the journey from beginning to advanced. Students can explore a variety of styles including Traditional Egyptian, Cabaret, FCBD, Tribal and Urban fusion styles. Desert Journey donates studio time and financial support to make the festival happen each year. Special thanks to the teachers at Desert Journey who spend countless donated hours supporting the festival.

Deziree "Jalasraya"
In loving memory of Jalasraya
For many years, Jalasraya supported the Utah Summer Dance Festival through heartfelt birthday fundraisers, inviting her friends and community to contribute in celebration of her love for dance. She was a deeply welcoming presence who believed everyone should have a place on the dance floor, and she joyfully shared that invitation with all.
A longtime performer with Desert Journey School of Dance, she danced for many years alongside her two daughters, embracing and celebrating traditional, cabaret, and fusion belly dance styles. Her passion for dance was matched only by her generosity and her desire to include others in the joy it brought her.
Her spirit helped grow our dance community in lasting ways, and her legacy continues to live on in every circle she helped create.
