The Utah Summer Dance Festival is a live music and dance performance event showcasing the wide-ranging dance practiced in Utah and nearby states. While the festival is rooted in both traditional and fusion forms of Middle Eastern dance and Eastern European folk dance, we continue to offer an open call for professional and student troupes performing all forms and styles of dance. We showcase dances from all over the world in order to create a diverse, multicultural event, bringing communities and cultures together. Our previous festivals have featured dancers representing over twenty different nations.

This year we are planning an intensive-style group of workshops with local teachers and performers in several pick-your-own adventure workshops.

Every year we bring in amazing instructors to teach a variety of foundations, skills, props, technique, choreography, and styles. We are fortunate to have to many amazing dancers who support our community!
Performers
Dancers don't just perform, they connect. Musicians don't just play, they inspire. Join us for a day of movement, music and tradition as our multicultural performers celebrate all forms and styles of dance and live music.
